The documentaries, clips and even dance films that were selected for this year's IMZ World Music Film Screenings at WOMEX, held from 27 October– 31 October 2010 in Copenhagen, represent a strong variety of topics that will touch not only world music aficionados. They are highly political, mirror social conditions, they are intriguing, inflammatory, instructive, and beautiful.

World, roots, folk, ethnic, radical, traditional, local, diaspora, club – whatever it is, wherever it comes from, you'll find it at WOMEX, the world music expo, along with the professionals who make it. Taking place in locations all across Europe since 1994, WOMEX has grown from 200 to 2800 delegates from more than 90 countries including over 350 international journalists, making it the most anticipated, productive and successful professional event of the world music year. WOMEX hosts a trade fair, a full conference & showcase festival and the film market organised by IMZ.
